AUTUMN/WINTER 21

For our Autumn/Winter 2021 collection, we explore life in the periphery and find inspiration in the thrill of otherness, looking to sources such as outsider art and non-conformingpersonalities. The collection is inspired by Francis Coppola's film "The Outsiders", Philippe Petit's high wire routine between the Twin Towers in 1974, Salvation Mountain in California as well as outsider artists such as Howard Finster and more. We are inspired by people who carve their own personal path through life, their intriguing stories and the way they approach making beautiful art. There is a lot to learn from their individual views onlife.

The collection is an eclectic mix of design-driven wardrobe essentials in elevated fabrics as well as a wider selections of outerwear pieces. Many with generous fits and exaggerated details, trousers that complement a selection of shirts and overshirts to create sets to be worn as modern suits. Shirts remain as a strong core category together with a growing selection of knitand jersey items.

Additionally, we introduce our first denim fit "ALEF" in 100% organic cotton. It is not your ordinary five pocket jean. Instead it is a combined chino and denim trouser with a slight dropped crotch, slanted side pockets, two patch pockets and a yoke at back. The hems are deep and the leg is straight. Each trouser is individually labelled with the season, number, model and size - handwritten by us in the studio. This season we have collaborated with American accessoires brand MAKR. Together we developed two tote weekender bags made out of heavy canvas fabric and printed with artworks from the collection. The bags are handcrafted in the United States.
